SUMMARY:Opportunities and Challenges of the Free Trade Agreement between 
 the EFTA States and India

DESCRIPTION:The talk will focus on the implications of the Trade and Econ
 omic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) between EFTA states and India for mutu
 al market access in different industries\, intellectual property rights 
 (IPR)\, and some aspects such as environmental and labour market issues.
  The focus will particularly be on the Indian perspective to the agreeme
 nt. In her talk\, Prof. Bhasin will also draw on her research on underst
 anding the economic effects of free trade agreements and present her pre
 liminary conclusions regarding the potential effects of TEPA. Opportunit
 ies and challenges will be jointly discussed towards the end of the even
 t.\n\nThe event takes place on Monday 28 April at 6.15pm in the Hörsaal
