Educational objective
A non-Swiss secondary school leaving certificate will be recognized with regard to its educational objective if the following criteria are fulfilled:
- The upper secondary level is specifically designed to prepare students to study at universities by providing a broad, balanced and coherent education and is not a subject-specific or vocational training at the same time.
- The secondary school leaving certificate that concludes the upper secondary level serves as a general higher education entrance qualification, granting the holder access to all university study programs in the higher education environment in the relevant country.
- The certificate also entitles the holder to admission to a study program at a state-recognized university within the education system of the relevant country, with its curriculum being equivalent to the selected bachelor’s degree program at the Ðǿմ«Ã½ (see also “Requirement for proof of admission”).
